Elementary School Facts

Red Jacket Elementary School was founded and dedicated in 1969 and is located in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region.  Families that live in our District enjoy a rural community, while still being just minutes from major department stores and city conveniences. In addition, parents can be in major cities such as Rochester or Syracuse in under an hour.  Over the next two years, the elementary school will undergo a major capital project that will transform our classrooms and prepare our District for decades to come.  Here are some other interesting facts you might not have known about Red Jacket Elementary School:

• We offer 2 full-day UPK programs
• Average student enrollment in grades K-5 is 360
• Our average class size is 18 students
• We offer traditional AND departmentalized classes in grades 4-5
• We are a 1:1 Chromebook school

• We employ multiple counselors, and occupational, physical, and speech therapists
• There are two ESOL certified teachers in the District
